The age recommendations outlined for Kindermusik® classes have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way. Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age by the start of the term for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child's success in a particular age range, I am happy to discuss your child's needs and to work with you to place him in the class best suited for him/her.

At certain times throughout each session, I am happy to schedule a free visit in one of my classes. Please call for availability.

Although you may join our classes at anytime, please register early since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly. Registering at least 2 weeks before the semester begins also ensures that your child's At Home Materials will be ready for your first class. If you enroll after the semester begins, tuition can be pro-rated accordingly.

A registaration form and payment must be received before enrollment can be confirmed. You will receive a phone call, email or mailed notice within two weeks to confirm your registration.

Tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawl from class. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis. The cost of materials and a $10 processing fee are non-refundable.

Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness or incement weather. I will notify you of the cancellation and the scheduled make-up day.

Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the younger class settings, Village® and Our Time™ classes can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contented in a car carrier or stroller. Of course emergency exceptions are considered.

Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early for class. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in to the musical environment as they prepare to enjoy exploring instruments, reading books, or listening to music. We do request that toys, juice cups and pacifiers be kept out of sight and that snacks be finished prior to class. Be sure to dress comfortably.

During Class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active patient role model. It is not uncommon for a child to attend serveral classes before feeling comfortable in class. Don't be discouraged - what a child is absorbing in class is often evedence in the comfort of the home environment rather that in a certain level of participation in class. The understanding and consistency of the parent or caregiver in class and the at home are key to facilitating musical learning and growth.

You and your child will enormously benifit from the Kindermusik® experience, especially if you can make active use of your At Home Materials. Frequent reinforcement at home throughout the week makes all the difference in a child's comfort and participation in the classroom.
